Boston Hash House Harriers

First thing: Create a new page to post hash trash:

1. Each hash that has a hash trash gets a new page.
2. You can create a new page by entering a name for the hash in the box below.
3. So we can find all the hundreds of hash trashes later, use a naming convention that employs the full date as the title. Like this: June 9, 1969. By entering "June 9, 1969" you will create a page whose extension is "june-9-1969" and whose link is http://bostonhash.wikidot.com/trash:june-9-1969. You can send just the link out to the runslist if you have already posted the trash here on the site.
4. Once you enter the title (aka the date) in the box below, click "create new hash trash".
5. You should now be able to add the hash trash to the blank page. If you need help with syntax, take a peek at the code from other hash trashes where you see things you'd like to use - like boldface, collapsible sections, larger fonts, different colors, etc. if you need help try googling wikidot and your issue, or email moc.hsahnotsob|potsssip#potS ssiP.
6. If you don't see the box or can't get it to create, you are not a moderator. The moderators of the hash trash are the webmeisters, scribes, and you if already spoke to Piss Stop. If you are interested in keeping these pages up to date, email moc.hsahnotsob|potsssip#yssiP. You know you wanna.

Second thing: create a link to your hash trash on this page

1. Now that you wrote up (or copy and pasted) the hash trash onto a web page, you now need to reference it on this page so hashers can find and read it.
2. All you need to do is put brackets around the exact same text that you entered into the "create page" box - - [[[January 27, 2008]]] - - when you are editing this page and voila! You created a link to your hash trash. You should also be able to look at and copy the syntax by looking at the hyperlink reference from the last hash trash on the page. There's also a list of wikidot syntax here if you really want to have at it.
